groundswork & plant

  • Groundswork and/or Plant - Bellaghy

    As a Groundworks Apprentice with Scullion Civils, you will be involved in a variety of practical tasks on active construction sites. These may include:

    • Ground preparation and site clearance

    • Assist excavation and disposal operations

    • Kerbing, flagging & fencing

    • Drainage installation

    • Working with abrasive wheels

    • Pipe laying

    • Placing and compacting of crushed stone in preparation for hard surfaces

    • Building and setting of all utility cover lids

    • Operating plant and machinery and power tools (under supervision)
